Global Environmental Policy

KSR International Co. is an industry leader in designing, engineering and manufacturing adjustable pedal modules, brake pedals, clutch pedals, and electronic throttle pedals. We also develop and produce an increasingly wide variety of high performance electronic automotive sensors, power modules and ECU’s, for use in such varied applications as suspension systems, transmissions and throttle bodies. Our specific sensor expertise is in linear and rotational displacement sensing technology for automotive applications.

KSR is committed to protecting the local and global environment. To minimize the impacts concerning the nature, scale and environmental impact of our activities, products and services, we shall:

  • fulfil KSR’s compliance obligations; commit to the protection of the environment, prevention of pollution, sustainable resource use, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and protection of biodiversity and ecosystems;
  • provide a framework to our sites and offices for setting environmental Objectives, Targets and Programs in complying with the requirement: prevent pollution, reduce waste and minimize the consumption of resources;
  • investigate the feasibility of influencing our suppliers, customers and third parties with consideration to life cycle impact of their aspects and activities;
  • address the risks and opportunities by integrating our EMS into our business processes and strategies, and continually improve the environmental management system, and enhance the performance.

This policy is communicated to those performing work under KSR’s control, and available to all KSR’s stakeholders, interested parties and the public through selected media.

Since 1946, KSR has been an industry leader in designing, engineering and manufacturing of fixed pedal modules, electronic throttle controls and automotive sensors. With seven worldwide locations on three continents, KSR’s global footprint includes manufacturing facilities in North America, mainland Europe and Asia. Sales, R&D and engineering offices are in Canada, US, German, UK and China.
