The KSR methodology for the design of our patented non-contacting sensors is straightforward: The Simplest is the Best. The KSR sensor uses ratio-metric technology, which is simple by design, but robust and flexible enough to meet our customers requirements in the most complex environments.
We have designed the worlds most compact electronic module (ASIC) containing only 2000 transistors, yet this small design is still highly adaptable due to a large range of calibration. The sensor is as simple as an analogue divider but highly scalable from small to large angles as well as short to long linear capabilities.
The KSR sensor technology is well suited for all vehicle applications from ETC pedals, to throttle position sensors to linear applications such transmission sensors, with the following benefits:
- The most dependable & reliable without the need for additional programming.
- Can be dropped-in as a replacement for existing sensors, including potentiometer types, due to instantaneous booting times.
- Completed test to be highly accurate and reliable under harsh conditions like EMC and hot temperature environments.
- Functions correctly over an extremely wide range of mechanical & electric tolerences through the inherent ratio-metric design principle.
- KSRs full design capabilities means we can provide a turn-key solution ranging from component level electronic design to full upper assembly integration.
